Found weapons with cool skills on them or rings, who cares. Scaling is really steep.įor example in act 1 by the time you find whole Braccuss set it is almost useless, and that is a pitty. Upgrading option would make sense in the way system is set. As I said uniques are cool, but you don't care as you'll buy whites soon anyways.
Thing is old cRPGs did not have 30 lvls and gear didn't almost double it's strength every other one. It's better if you Lone Wolf, since 2 cost less to equip than 4, but man it's annoying if you want to replay the game. Particularly in Fort Joy, where you have to pick everyone's pocket, search every barrel and craft everything before you sell it, just so you can equip your party every other level. They might have had the powerful gear in the high level locations, but if you found a powerful peice of gear early, there was nothing stopping you from using it and some of the gear you found early on was still the best choice when you hit end game.Īnyway the grind for gear is killing my appreciation of the game somewhat. Certainly not any of the Infinty Engine games, Interplay Games, SSI games, etc. Publicado originalmente por wendigo211:Prior to MMOs, I can't think of a single CRPG that had tiered gear.
